Anna Silk
Anna Silk was born in the month of January in 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo in Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was made in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk were the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she plays the role of drama instructor on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother while at work, and also attending practice sessions for plays. Silk played in a variety of commercials for children. She received a Bachelor's of Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. The early stage work she did included two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved out of Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles during the decade that followed 1999. She met her new husband, Seth Cooperman, at an acting training held in Los Angeles in 2007. They got married in 2009, and were married with a civil ceremony December of that year. In April of 2011, they renewed their vows in the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk gave birth to a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Silk was cast in the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk revealed to fans the joyous news that she had become pregnant during the filming of season 3 in an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was presented by Showcase at the special Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the premiere. Silk announced on Twitter June 20th that the show was coming back in its production. The fourth season debuted on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer as the same-sex couple in Lost Girl to be one of their top TV Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared them Top TV Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk's popularity has resulted in a large online audience through social networks.
